The 3D ceramic chamber heats from its base and lower sidewalls, not just the bottom. That brings heat into more of the lower bowl where material is placed.
The goal is fast response and steady temperature at the setting you choose, rather than simply a hotter peak. And the removable assembly makes routine care easier.
The air path does the mixing.
The inlet, chamber and mouthpiece were developed as one connected air route. Rather than relying on loose chamber inserts to create movement, the shaped path is designed to encourage circulating, vortex-like airflow across the heated surface.
That circulation is there for a reason: to move air through the chamber and carry flavor out through the mouthpiece. No separate terp pearls are required for the intended airflow.
