Safety & hot surfaces.

The ceramic heating chamber is surrounded by stainless steel. During operation, heat from the chamber transfers into this metal.

The stainless-steel chamber exterior can become very hot during use and can remain hot after the heating cycle ends. This is expected behavior.

• Leave the chamber installed while it is hot.
• Do not touch the stainless-steel chamber exterior.
• Do not attempt to remove the chamber while it is hot.
• Place SparkIt TRI upright on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
• Allow the chamber area to cool before handling or removing it.
• Keep the hot chamber away from children, pets and materials that can be damaged by heat.
• Do not place SparkIt TRI into a pocket, bag, case or enclosed storage space while the chamber is still hot.

The inside of the ceramic bowl can be easier to clean while it is still warm.

You may gently swab the bowl after a session, but do not touch the surrounding stainless-steel chamber housing.

Routine warm cleaning should not require removing the chamber.

Only remove the chamber after it has cooled.

Never use force to remove a hot chamber.

If the chamber does not remove normally after it has completely cooled, contact SparkIt Support rather than forcing it.

A hot chamber and nearby chamber-side components immediately after heating are expected.

Stop using SparkIt TRI and contact SparkIt if you notice: unusual heat from the lower device body or battery area; heat that continues increasing when the device is not operating; battery swelling or deformation; smoke, unusual odor or electrical smell; damaged charging components; visible damage to the battery area; unexpected heating behavior; or anything else that appears unsafe.

• Hot surfaces — the chamber and surrounding stainless-steel components become hot during use. Do not touch or remove the chamber until it has cooled.
• Battery — SparkIt TRI contains an internal lithium battery. Do not puncture, crush, disassemble, modify or expose the battery to excessive heat.
• Water and liquids — SparkIt TRI does not require a water piece. Do not immerse the device or expose its electronics or charging port to liquid.
• Damaged products — do not use SparkIt TRI if it is visibly damaged or operating abnormally.
• Modifications — do not intentionally modify the battery, heating system, electronics or internal components.
• Children and pets — keep SparkIt TRI, its accessories and hot components out of reach of children and pets.
• While hot — do not leave a recently used SparkIt TRI where someone could accidentally touch the chamber, and do not place a hot device into a pocket, bag or enclosed case.

Your SparkIt TRI beta unit is a pre-production device. The chamber hot-surface instructions apply to every beta unit.

If anything behaves differently from these instructions, tell us. If you believe your unit may be unsafe, stop using it and contact SparkIt rather than continuing to test it.
